Oh look, I have nothing to blog.

June 7, 2010

Guess all the hype wore out after losing Internet access (again) for a few days. Or maybe I’m just not cut out for this thing. Probably because I’m expecting general busyness by the start of the school year. Oh school, a somewhat double-edged sword for me.

Did I just use a useless metaphor? And that rhetorical question was redundant since in theory, no useless thing can be used. Crap, why am I talking about figures of speech here?

I guess this is what happens when you have nothing to blog, or rather, using blogging as an excuse to actually, er, “blog”. It’s not really about blogging for the simple reason of flaunting the pages to your pals. A blog has to have a purpose, whether or not it is a pastime or a serious endeavor. Damnit, I don’t even know how to spell “endeavor”.

So I make this a note to myself. I really should give this thing a purpose. It should help me motivate to write more substantial entries, and not immature, everyday stuff that my mind spits out.

tl;dr – Go out of your way and actually think before you write your blogposts. Newfags.

(Yes, that is a 4chan reference. I dunno why. I just had to do that.)

Hey look, 200 words! A new record!

Pardon me, I just love interjecting post-writeup text. It’s just me.
